A different way of looking at marble
Marbler Art is a marble furniture maker in Çiğli, Izmir, founded in 2022. Behind it is a much longer history: our group company Aktaş Mermer has cut and processed natural stone in the same industrial zone since 1965.
A maker that knows the stone
Most companies that make marble furniture buy a finished table top from someone else. We choose the slab ourselves and cut and work it in our own facility. That makes two practical differences.
First, we can see which slab suits which piece. In natural stone the direction of the veining decides what will come out of which part of the slab; when the veining lands in the center of a coffee table top, that is a cutting decision, not luck. Second, every layer between the slab yard and your living room is a cost. Because we carry the chain from the slab to the finished piece ourselves, we can offer the same stone at a fairer price.
We work with architects
We bring our marble craftsmanship and experience together with the imagination of architects who know the material and the presence of natural stone. Every piece in the collection is the result of a design decision: the asymmetric opening in the lower body of Cave, the column-like legs of Temple, the way Yin Yang sets two stones against each other.
Having design and production under one roof means we learn early whether a form that looks good on paper can really be made in stone. Every piece that enters the collection has been tested on both sides.
What we make
Marble coffee and side tables, dining tables, consoles and a range of decorative pieces. All of them in natural marble, travertine and onyx; we do not use veneers, composites or stone-look materials. We work with a wide selection of stones, from Burdur travertine to Blue Onyx, from Marmara marble to Alexander Black; all of them are in our marble range.
We do not mass produce. Every piece is made after the order is placed, from the stone you choose; production takes 2 to 6 weeks, most orders 3 to 4 weeks, plus transit to your country. It is a longer wait than buying from stock, and in return the stone of the piece that enters your home was set aside for you.
Our aim
To make our customers’ lives easier by offering the best quality pieces at fair prices, and to design and make pieces that are really used in living rooms, offices and homes. Natural stone is not a material to be displayed; it is a surface to be lived with.
Our factory and workshop
We are more than a workshop: the slab is cut at our factory in the İ.A.O.S.B. industrial zone in Çiğli, Izmir, and the piece takes its final form in our furniture workshop. Customers visiting Izmir are welcome to see the stones, pick a slab and watch production by appointment; since every slab of natural stone is unique, we recommend it whenever possible. For everyone else, we send photos of the slabs in stock before cutting.
