Shipping to the USA

Every Marbler Art piece is made to order in our workshop in Izmir, Türkiye, and we ship to all fifty states. You receive one written quote for the piece and its delivery to your address, so you know the cost before you pay.

How the quote works

Send us the pieces you like, the stone and the size, and your ZIP code. Tell us whether the address is a home or a business and whether there is a loading dock or someone to help unload. We ask our forwarder for the freight and reply with the price of the piece, the freight, US customs clearance and, if you wish, the import duties and broker fees, so the piece arrives delivered duty paid. You can also collect EX WORKS Izmir with your own forwarder.

Two things decide how fast we can answer: the exact items and your ZIP code. Without them a freight price is guesswork, so please include both.

How long it takes

Production takes 2 to 6 weeks from payment, most orders 3 to 4. Deliveries to a private address in the United States go by air freight, which is the route that reaches a home address reliably, so transit is days rather than weeks. The transit time for your ZIP code is written in your quote. Ocean freight in a shared container is available for business addresses and larger orders. We do not keep US stock, so every piece is new and made for you.

Packing and delivery

Each piece travels in one heat treated wooden export crate, kiln dried and stamped to the ISPM-15 standard that US customs requires, with corner protection inside. A dining table travels knocked down in that single crate, the top and the base parts packed together with dunnage, so there is one crate to receive and nothing to track separately. US door deliveries are curbside unless in-home delivery is quoted. Marble is heavy: plan for two or more people on the day, and measure your doorway and stair turns before you order. We will tell you the crate size so you can check.

Duties, customs and taxes

Our export prices are EX WORKS Izmir and exclude freight, duties and taxes. On request we quote them as one delivered figure: freight, customs clearance in Türkiye and in the United States, the customs broker and the import duties due on the day. Tariffs on Turkish goods change, so we confirm the rate with our broker for your shipment rather than publishing a number here.

Ordering several pieces or for a business

Freight per piece drops when pieces share a crate or a container. Designers, retailers and brands can find the terms on our trade and private label page. General export terms, payment and damage claims are on international orders, and the British route is on shipping to the UK.

Questions about US delivery

Do you ship to the USA?

Yes. We ship to all US states. Deliveries to a private address go by air freight; ocean freight is available for business addresses and larger orders. Every order is quoted door to door for your ZIP code, with US customs clearance and, if you wish, import duties included.

Are import duties and customs included?

They can be. On request we quote delivered duty paid: freight, customs clearance in Türkiye and in your country, the customs broker and import duties, as one figure before you pay. Our export price list itself is EX WORKS Izmir and excludes them.

How much does shipping from Turkey to the USA cost?

It depends on the size and weight of the crate, the number of pieces, the transport mode and your ZIP code, so we quote each order. Air freight charges on the greater of the actual weight and the volume of the crate, which is why the crate size matters as much as the weight. Several pieces in one shipment cost less per piece than a single piece. Send us the items and your ZIP code for an exact figure.

How long does delivery to the USA take?

Production takes 2 to 6 weeks, most orders 3 to 4. Transit comes on top: a few days by air, several weeks by ocean. Private addresses are served by air, so the total is usually 3 to 5 weeks. The transit time for your address is stated in your quote.

Can I use my own forwarder?

Yes. We hand the crated piece over EX WORKS at our factory in Çiğli, Izmir, with the commercial invoice, the packing list and any document your broker needs.
