Shipping to the UK

Every Marbler Art piece is made to order in our workshop in Izmir, Türkiye, and we ship to England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. You receive one written quote for the piece and its delivery to your address, so you know the cost before you pay.

How the quote works

Send us the pieces you like, the stone and the size, and your postcode. Tell us whether the address is a home or a business, whether there is a lift, and which floor. We ask our forwarder for the freight and reply with the price of the piece, the freight, customs clearance and, if you wish, the import charges, so you know the delivered cost. You can also collect EX WORKS Izmir with your own forwarder.

The two things that decide how fast we can answer are the exact items and your postcode. Without both, a freight price is guesswork.

How long it takes

Production takes 2 to 6 weeks from payment, most orders 3 to 4. Transit comes on top and is stated in your quote: a few days by air freight, longer by road or sea. We hold no finished stock, so every piece is made for you.

Packing and delivery

Each piece travels in a heat treated wooden export crate with corner protection, stamped to the ISPM-15 standard. Deliveries are to the kerb or the building entrance unless an inside delivery is quoted. Marble is heavy: plan for two or more people on the day, and measure your doorway, stair turns and lift before you order. We will tell you the crate size so you can check it.

VAT, duties and customs

Under the trade agreement between the United Kingdom and Türkiye our furniture carries no UK customs duty, provided the shipment travels with our origin declaration on the invoice. We issue that with every order, so there is no duty to pay on the piece itself. Our prices are EX WORKS Izmir in euros and exclude freight and taxes. For a consignment worth more than 135 GBP, UK import VAT is settled at import rather than at the point of sale, and we can include them in a delivered quote on request so there is nothing to pay at the door. If you are VAT registered you can reclaim the import VAT in the normal way; we provide the commercial invoice, the packing list and the customs documents your broker needs. Charges are confirmed for your shipment before you pay, not estimated on a web page.

Freight per piece drops when pieces share a crate or a shipment. Designers, architects, retailers and hospitality buyers can find the terms on our trade and private label page. Questions about UK delivery

Do you ship to the UK?

Yes. We ship to England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Every order is quoted door to door for your postcode, with customs clearance and, if you wish, the import charges included.

Do I pay VAT and customs charges at the door?

Customs duty does not apply to our furniture under the UK Türkiye trade agreement, as long as our origin declaration travels with the shipment, and it always does. Import VAT is the charge that remains. For consignments above 135 GBP it falls due at import. We can either include them in one delivered figure, so nothing is payable on delivery, or leave them to you, which is stated plainly in your quote.

How much does delivery to the UK cost?

It depends on the crate size and weight, the number of pieces, the transport mode and your postcode, so we quote each order. Several pieces in one shipment cost less per piece. Send us the items and your postcode for an exact figure.

Yes. Every design can be made in other dimensions and in any stone from our range, round, oval or rectangular. Tell us the size and we quote it. We can also tell you the crate size in advance so you can check your access.
