Travertine and marble coffee tables

Coffee tables in solid travertine, Calacatta Viola, Volakas and other natural stones, made to order in Izmir, Türkiye. Round, oval, square or rectangular: every design can be made in the size and height your sofa needs.

Penny Bun, Cave, Float and Screw are shown in their standard stone; ask for the same form in another stone and we send you photos of the slabs in stock. A custom travertine coffee table is quoted the same way as a standard one.

Every slab is unique

Marble is not a pattern file. The horizontal layers of Burdur travertine, the gold veining of Calacatta or the translucent transitions of Blue Onyx are a record of the conditions the stone passed through over millions of years. Two slabs from the same quarry are never identical. The table that reaches you is a relative of the one in the photograph, not a copy, and we see that as the reason to choose natural stone, not a flaw.

The stones used across the coffee table collection include Burdur travertine, Akhisar beige, Marmara marble, Calacatta, Calacatta Ocean, Calacatta Viola, Volakas, Alexander Black and Blue Onyx. Light travertines open up a small room; a dark stone such as Alexander Black sets a strong contrast in a bright one. Size and height

Our standard coffee table height is 38 to 42 cm (15 to 16.5 in), a little below the seat height of most three-seat sofas, which keeps both reach and proportion comfortable. The top works best at roughly two thirds of the length of the sofa group. Every model can be made in other sizes; tell us the dimensions of your space and we adapt the piece to it.

Production and shipping

Our group company Aktaş Mermer has worked natural stone in Izmir since 1965, and the coffee tables combine that experience with the work of architects who know the material. Production takes 2 to 6 weeks after your confirmation, most orders 3 to 4 weeks. The piece travels in a double-layer wooden crate built around the fragile edges of the stone and is shipped to the USA, the UK, Europe and worldwide; freight is quoted per order from your postal code and the pieces you choose. Care

Marble is a porous stone: lemon, vinegar, wine and acidic cleaners can leave a permanent dull mark. A damp microfiber cloth is enough for daily cleaning. Our tables are sealed before delivery; renewing the sealer about every two years keeps the stone looking as it did on day one. Details are in the marble care guide.
